We came from from a fast city and every one is in a huge hurry. A lot of traffic and people. Many places to go and not enough time in a day kind of place. That place was So Cal. So here we are now in CT. With speed limits of 55 on the highway and 35 everywhere else. Mostly 2-4 lanes everywhere we go. Only here they don't go by street names it is all land markers or exit 42 or whatever exit you need, they use the number on the exit sign. Not the name of the street. So say you get off exit 24. Now you need to turn on a certain street, there are no names of streets posted and if there is a name it is tiny and a different name than what you are looking for or it is not posted in one direction but in the other direction. So getting around town is like this, Turn left at Walgreen's then right a blue house and left at red mail box.... Get me here. Serious here people. Now you got the directions down lets add people. So say your a at red light. What are you to do when the light is red? STOP! No people, we let 3-4 more cars go through on red. Then you get to go. Now you want to turn right at a light... Well you could but people are not courteous here to wait at the light to the left of the lane. They take the whole lane so no one can turn right or there is a sign posted telling you no turn on right if light is red. Now in normal places you turn right on red if you yield....Not here people. Now you want to turn left at a light well you have to wait for the turn light right. No not in CT people go, remember that part about 3-4 cars still go on red. So we all have to wait on the other people on the other side of the street to run red lights and by the time they are done going when they want to. Your light is now yellow. Or traffic is blocking you because they all ran red lights. Okay speed limit is 35 on normal streets maybe 40 if your lucky. Well that don't mean crap. They go 25 most of the time. Unless running red lights then it is 50. So you see the mess I am in here... You know these people here are always in a hurry and they don't think about anyone but themselves. They are not courteous or polite. You know I got yelled at and given the finger for following the law. I was at a light and it turned green.... I went... Well I did not let the people run red lights and I almost hit a damn women. She got out yelling and screaming bad words at me because my light was green.....See....
